Game Drives

Enter into the Zambezi National Park for a short drive along the river slowly making your way across to the Chamabonda Vlei. Here you will set up at one of the viewing platforms and obverse wildlife coming to drink at the water hole. Here you will be served a light dinner. After dinner, you drive down the vlei game viewing under the spotlight with opportunities of seeing Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Several among various other nocturnal species found within the park.

Canoe Safaris

Take a game drive (25km) into the Zambezi National Park in an open vehicle to arrive at our riverside canoe camp. (See accommodation). Prepare to explore the Zambezi River by canoe. Some of the finest game viewing opportunities available to all who venture. Run a few grade 1 and 2 rapids along the way.The day starts with a breakfast and the guide will then give a thorough briefing, which will cover; conditions of the river, rapids, canoeing instruction, safety and general information. There are also overnight options available on the canoe trips to suite your adventurous spirit

Accommodation

Accommodation on safari is in a mobile tented camp. The camp is fully backed up by a team of staff that set up camp in preparation for client’s arrival. The camp comprises of large walk in tents, equipped with camp beds, mattresses, sheets, pillows and duvets, camping water basin (which are filled with hot water each morning), solar lighting. There is also a portable toilet and hot shower in camp.

 

The camp and dining table are set up under the stars on the riverbank with stunning views of the river. On all overnight trips, limited beers, soft drinks and wines are provided. Clients are more than welcome to bring their own drinks of choice should they wish. During winter months (April, May, June, July and August), the evenings, nights and early mornings will be very cold. Space is limited; we suggest one carry bag per person
